JaRon Rush is a Kansas City basketball legend. Starting off as a youngster, playing ball in the local Boys & Girls Clubs, Rush was the first of three brothers who made their undeniable mark on the KC courts.

As a player, Rush went on to win back-to-back Missouri Class 2A State Basketball Titles at Pembroke Hill High School. He continued on at UCLA, leaving early to attempt a career in the NBA.

Although that professional career never materialized, Rush's awe-inspiring moments on the hardwood will forever be etched in the minds of those who were lucky enough to see him play.

The documentary features interviews with JaRon, Tom Grant, former Pembroke Hill Head Basketball Coach Rick Allison, former Kansas City Star writers Howard Richman and Jason King, current Kansas City Star writer Mark Morris, former Metro Sports anchor Chad Harberts and Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Meiners.
